The chess puzzle of the day
A new puzzle every day at your level. Every move captures a piece, and in the end one remains. There is exactly one solution.

How the daily puzzle works
- Every day at midnight, German time, there are new puzzles: one for every level from Easy to Master.
- Everyone plays the same puzzle. You can share your result as one line, with level and time but without the moves. That way you do not give the solution away.
- Hints are allowed. They show in the result: “no hints” or “2 hints”.
- This page remembers nothing. If you close the window, your progress is gone. The app keeps your rank, your streak and your best times.
Which level is right for me?
- Easy: few pieces on 3×3 and 4×4. The start, once you have just learned the rules.
- Medium: 4×4 and 5×5, more pieces and more choice at every move.
- Hard and Expert: 4×4 to 6×6, more pieces and less obvious moves.
- Master: 5×5 and 6×6, the hardest puzzles of the day.
- Grandmaster of the week: a 6×6 puzzle for the whole week; it changes every Sunday.
The level sets the difficulty, the board gives the variety. To practise the rules, see How to play.
More than one puzzle a day?
The app remembers your rank, your streak and your times, and has duels and Blitz. It is currently being played in a small test group.
